Mike Manfred
Head of Capital Markets
Mike Manfred joined Canal Road Group in 2023 and serves as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. In this role, Mike focuses on Canal Road’s relationships with financial sponsors and banks, amongst broader capital markets responsibilities. Mike also sits on Canal Road Group’s Investment Committee. Prior to Canal Road, Mike served as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at CBAM. Prior to joining CBAM, Mike was a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance group at Morgan Stanley where, among other responsibilities, he oversaw the structuring and origination of non-investment grade debt solutions in the healthcare sector. Previously, Mike worked in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance group at J.P. Morgan. Mike holds a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University.
