Head of Operations
Jamie joined Canal Road Group in 2023 and serves as Head of Business Operations. Prior to joining Canal Road, James was CBAM’s Managing Director of Credit Operations, overseeing its CLO management platform, and was also responsible for evaluating structured credit investments. Prior to joining CBAM, James was a Principal at Ares Management Corporation where he headed the Structured Products Surveillance & Analytics team supporting CLO structuring and portfolio management for Ares’s broadly syndicated and middle market CLO platforms. Prior to his time at Ares, James worked at Swiss Re in its structured credit group where he was responsible for executing capital relief trades and derivative transactions referencing asset securitizations. James earned an MBA from Fordham University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Susquehanna University.
