Don Young is part of the team that founded Canal Road in 2023. Prior to founding Canal Road, he spent 6 years at CBAM where he served as Founder and Partner. Prior to founding CBAM, he managed the Performing Credit business for Och-Ziff which included $7.5 billion of CLOs. Prior to joining Och-Ziff, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Octagon Credit Investors. Earlier, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Primus Asset Management. Prior to that he was a Principal at Octagon Credit Investors as well as a Senior Vice President at Bank of the West. Mr. Young earned a Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College.
